The Best Pan-Fried Shrimp and Shrimp Tacos

One of my favorite foods lately has been tacos, but especially shrimp tacos. I have been making my shrimp like this for the past couple of months, and it is too good not to share. 


Ingredients for Shrimp 

  • Frozen shrimp 

  • Garlic powder

  • Salt 

  • Soy sauce

  • Lime juice

  • Olive oil 


Ingredients for Tacos

  • Tortillas of choice 

  • Some type of green (I use arugula)

  • Avocado 

  • Trader Joe’s corn and chile salsa 



To Make the Shrimp: 


 Turn your stove on medium/high and defrost however many shrimp you would like in a pan with olive oil. Add in salt and garlic powder and wait until all shrimp are defrosted. Once the shrimp are defrosted, add in a good amount of soy sauce and lime juice. (Lime juice is like the secret ingredient, it ties in all of the flavors so nicely for some reason). After adding, turn your stove on even higher and let the shrimp cook until they are crispy. They should look like this: 



As for assembling the tacos, you can really fill them with anything you want but the ingredients above are just my favorite combination. These are such a quick and easy dinner idea that still taste so good!
