My Favorite Places to Eat on Campus at TCU

Eating and finding places you enjoy while in college is very hard, especially if you struggle with your relationship with food or allergies/diet restrictions. Trust me, I get it! Luckily, TCU offers a wide variety of on campus dining, which has made it a lot easier to find places I love.

Rollin' n bowlin', our acai place located in the campus rec, has become one of my favorite places to eat. They serve acai bowls, smoothies, avocado toast, and a bunch of healthy to go snacks and drinks. My go to orders there are the Coco Loco bowl, the Coco Loco smoothie, or the loaded avocado toast.

One of my other favorite on campus dining options is called Magnolias, located in King Family Commons. This is one of my favorite dining options on campus because the food they serve is gluten and dairy free, targeted for students with allergies/intolerances. As someone who is dairy-free, I love never having to worry about checking the ingredients when I get meals from Magnolias. They also still manage to make their food taste so good despite the lack of ingredients used.

Lastly, this may be my top pick for TCU dining at the moment, is Buddha Bowls. Buddha Bowls is a new addition to TCU dining this semester, and it is located in the downstairs of the BLUU where the pasta bar used to be. The concept of this place is build your own bowls, and you order by checking boxes on a sheet of paper. Buddha Bowls has 4 pre-made bowl orders, like the mediterranean bowl or the Thai chicken bowl. What I like to do though is customize my own bowl, and I usually get things like quinoa, tofu, roasted sweet potatoes, kalamata olives, roasted brussels sprouts, roasted chickpeas, etc. I love these bowls because they are so filling and taste so fresh!
